WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Industrial Machinery Notice: As a manufacturer of large-format printing equipment, our policies differ from standard consumer retail. Please read the following terms carefully before purchasing.
1. Return of Machinery
Due to the specialized nature, heavy weight, and shipping complexity of large format printers and related machinery, Megajet does not accept returns or refunds on machinery once the order has been processed and shipped.
All machine sales are final. We strongly encourage customers to:
- Request detailed print samples or video demonstrations before placing an order.
- Confirm all technical specifications with our sales team.
- Arrange for a third-party inspection (optional) before shipment.
2. 12-Month Limited Warranty
We provide a 12-month manufacturer's warranty starting from the date of the Bill of Lading (B/L). This warranty covers manufacturing defects in the following core components:
- Mainboard / Motherboard
- Carriage Board
- Motors (X/Y axis)
- Power Supply Units
Warranty Claim Process:
If a covered part fails during the warranty period, Megajet will provide a free replacement part. The customer must:
- Provide photos or videos demonstrating the fault to our technical support team.
- In some cases, ship the defective part back to our factory for engineering analysis (shipping cost for returning defective parts is borne by the customer; shipping cost for sending the new part is borne by Megajet).
3. Non-Warranty Items (Consumables)
The following items are considered consumables or wear-and-tear parts and are strictly exempt from warranty and return once installed or used:
- Printheads: (e.g., Epson i3200, XP600, TX800). All printheads are tested by the manufacturer. Please inspect the package immediately upon receipt. Once ink is introduced to the printhead, no warranty claims can be made.
- Ink System Parts: Dampers, Capping Stations, Wiper Blades, Ink Pumps, and Ink Tubes.
- Cables: Data cables and FFC cables (unless dead on arrival).
4. Shipping Damage & Insurance
Ownership and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier (FOB/EXW terms). While we package all machines in export-standard wooden crates to minimize risk:
- Megajet is not liable for damage caused during transit by the shipping carrier.
- We strongly recommend that buyers purchase shipping insurance for their orders.
- If a machine arrives with visible crate damage, please note it on the carrier's delivery receipt immediately and take photos before unpacking.
5. Order Cancellation & Restocking Fee
If you wish to cancel an order:
- Before Production: Full refund is available.(Bank charges may apply)
- During Production (Custom Orders): If production has begun, a 30% restocking/material fee will be deducted from the refund to cover labor and material costs.
- After Shipping: Orders cannot be cancelled once they have left our factory.
